Uncovering the embedded archives and stories beneath the organic cast, folded rocks and feldspar of Wheal Martyn. A lithos, stone, formed with found objects, excavated from the folded landscape and abandoned buildings. Touching upon the narratives of mining debris and chalky rivers within natural land, these altar's capture these visual stories within solid form. Objects are collected and embedded in assemblages to form a cast of fleeting moments, a postcard of these gradually eroded remnants of the past.
